Day Two

Today we woke up in Deming New Mexico. Had some stuffed sopapillas for breakfast in Las Cruces. Wandered around the classic Mesilla town square, Billy the Kid's old stomping grounds.

Headed down to El Paso Texas. Couldn't find one place we wanted to visit, another was close. Finally had lunch at Julio's Corona Cafe, it was dynamite. Then started the long trek across Texas. Went to a place we heard was the largest swimming pool in the world in Toyahvale. However it was only the world's largest spring-fed open-air man-made swimming pool. Stopped by a few road runner statues. Ate dinner at a forgettable place in Ozona, and here we are now. All the photos should be in our Flickr Stream.

Tomorrow it is on to points further East in Texas. San Antonio, Houston and wherever else Arthur Adipose insists we drag him.
