A few weeks ago I also sent away for some free tourist info from the various state and city authorities who use your tax dollars to publish info for travelers. The glossy magazines and maps have been trickling in through the mail each day. We have now compiled everything together into a big box for the back seat and have organized them by when we will visit them. Deming New Mexico is the first spot!
Considering how heavy the box is I imagine it will cost us some mileage. We will drop off the books at rest areas or restaurants on the road as we finish with them so they don't weigh us down too much.
